Bunny Bait Recipe

I found this idea on another blog and decided I had to try it. There are recipes all over Pinterest and I decided on this one below. I originally planned on making this fun festive treat for my Moms and Minis Easter celebration I recently hosted but I couldn't find one of the ingredients. I stumbled upon it today just in time for the Easter Bunny!

Here's what you'll need:

  • 1 24 oz. package of White Almond Bark: I found at Walmart. My local HEB and Target did not carry it for some reason. It will be with the baking stuff.
  • Easter sprinkles: Target or Walmart in the Easter section
  • Easter sprinkle flakes: Target or Walmart in the Easter section
  • 2 Bags of popcorn
  • Pretzel sticks
  • M&M speckled eggs

1. Pop 2 bags of popcorn and put them in a HUGE bowl to cool
2. Make sure you pick out the popcorn seeds that didn't pop!
3. Melt white almond bark according to directions on packaging. DO NOT BURN OR OVER COOK
4. Mix in desired amount of pretzels with popcorn while almond bark is melting
5. Coat popcorn and pretzels with about 1/2 to 3/4 of the melted almond bark. Mainly to your preference I had quite a bit of popcorn seeds left so I only did half. Mix well.
5. Spread the coated popcorn and pretzel mixture over wax paper and drizzle 1/4 or the remaining melted almond bark. Be quick before it cools!
6. Add your sprinkles and m&ms- as much as you desire!
7. Let dry
8. Enjoy!
