To Blog or Not To Blog?
That has been the questions in the back of my head throughout my entire pregnancy and well, the past two months. I found a few blogs during my pregnancy that brought me peace. It was comforting to be able to read about the journeys of others going through the same life changing event as myself. The question that continued to arise was, would writing bring that same comfort? I'm still not sure. But I do think about how neat it will be for the children of these bloggers to one day go back and read about their journey through life.
So I am putting myself up to the challenge not for myself but for my daughter Addelyn. If you know me at all, you would know how terrible I am about documenting memories whether it be by story or picture, I just plain stink at it. You see I get too caught up in the moment to even think about my camera. Well with a baby here I have been stressing myself out to the max about taking enough pictures and documenting those special moments.
I hope to document all that touches my heart and impacts this little one's life. And who knows I may never get a chance to reminisce these precious moments with her. Oh how I wish my mother had written a blog while raising me that I could turn to and read about all the ups and downs of raising a child. You know the things that weigh heavy on your heart while parenting. Motherhood is quite more complicated when you step into its shoes and I do often question myself... AM I DOING THIS RIGHT?
So I dedicate this blog to you Little A. I hope it fills your heart with love, laughter, memories, and answers any questions you may have one day about your childhood or raising a little one of your own.
